Kate Callahan

 Kate Callahan leads a vocal empowerment program for women inmates at York Correctional Institution in Niantic, CT. With generous support from The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, The Department of Economic and Community Development in Connecticut, and The Iguana Grant Fund (Club Passim, Cambridge MA), Kate is able to serve 60 women a year in learning to use their voice as a tool for positive change in their lives both inside and out of prison.
